ABOUT PALETTE

Palette gallery opened in March of 2005. The dream of artist Barbara Fritsche, to bring to the Ojai valley area a different and innovative center where art, music, dance and performance could converge.

This is a gallery for the new millenium, for artists and creatives of all walks. Palette was designed as a contemplative place, full of life, offering an opportunity to take in art at ones own pace, discuss art with the artists and see art as it's being created.

Palette openings have drawn a lot of attention from the local press. These are, typically, themed events featuring a variety of new artists and works, live music & downtempo DJs, stilt walkers, hoola hoopers, live models, hand-drummers, projected video, performance artists, food, wine and certianly some surprises. If this doesn't whet your Palette...I don't know if there's hope.

In addition, Palette features hair color by appointment. Come listen to good music, have your hair done, learn about new artists and their art all in the relaxing setting of beautiful downtown Ojai.
